MUDO – Musée de l’Oise

Welcome to our home

At the foot of Beauvais Cathedral, the MUDO - Musée de l'Oise - is located in the former palace of the bishop-counts of Beauvais. This place first became a court house and then a museum at the end of the 20th century. After a few years of renovation work to enhance the heritage and arrange it in a contemporary way, the museum now presents a part of its 19th century collection as well as various temporary exhibitions. As soon as you enter the museum, past the impressive gatehouse built in the 14th century, discover the gardens and the Renaissance palace, which houses the museum's collections. Closed on Tuesdays. Find the program of exhibitions, visits, workshops, thematic meetings on mudo.oise.fr;
The Renaissance palace is closed for renovation. During your visit, you have access to the gardens and to the La Rochefoucauld pavilion (Saint-Pierre wing) to discover the exhibition "The 16th-20th century painting gallery".
