Spectacle – Des Chimères dans la Tête

Strange creatures appear before our very eyes: a bright red fox, then a bird with the body of a rabbit, or a dragon ridden by a mouse, and many more! With this show, choreographer Sylvain Groud has taken up the challenge of bringing to life on the theater stage the chimerical creatures that populate the imaginations of children, and then adults, since our phantasmagorias and phobias are rooted in the depths of our childhood. He has teamed up with visual artist Françoise Pétrovitch and audio-visual creator Hervé Plumet, and together they have created a magical universe, an invitation to plunge into the abyssal world of childhood, revealed and sublimated through dance gesture. The piece impresses with its precision, the precision of the dance, and the interweaving of all the visual and sound elements, creating an optical illusion in which the audience is invited to play with the shapes that emerge from their daydreams and nightmares.
