Parc du Château de Troissereux

Designed by Bernard Palissy in the 16th century, it preserves trees of the time, oriental plane trees, classified as remarkable trees of France. In "La recette véritable", Bernard Palissy describes "the delectable garden" he designed, that of Troissereux. The park was designed and drained the marshes around the castle. Even today, in case of heavy rain, the castle and the park remain the only places in the village that are not flooded. The park also has bald cypress trees brought back from the Americas by the Marquis de Lafayette in the 18th century during his expedition with the Hermione.
