Le Quadrilatère

A unique art center in the heart of downtown Beauvais, the Quadrilatère welcomes you to its renovated architecture. In contrast to the neighboring Gothic cathedral, the modernist building designed by André Hermant in 1976 features clean, graphic lines and unsuspected volumes. Entitled Écrire l?espace, the inaugural season celebrates André Hermant?s architecture, revisited from a contemporary perspective through the eyes of artists Cécile Bart and Stéphanie Mansy.
The renovation also reveals the site?s exceptional heritage by providing access to its archaeological crypt, and offers an immersive experience in the city?s history via its Centre d?interprétation de l?architecture et du patrimoine (CIAP).
