Masterpiece of Beauvaisian know-how, tapestry contributes to the reputation of the city well beyond the French borders. Founded by Colbert in 1664, the Tapestry Factory has been perpetuating the basse-lisse technique for more than three centuries and encourages the creation of contemporary artists. Exceptionally, the Manufacture opens its doors to you and will reveal tapestries in progress.

The visits last 1 hour or more according to your curiosity. Guides-lecturers, mediators, archaeologists or other professionals of the heritage and the culture put you in light the richness and the beauties of our City of art and history.
