City Tour
Walking: Passing through the square dedicated to our heroine Jeanne Hachette, the church of Saint-Etienne and its 16th century stained glass windows will surprise you. This tour will allow you to understand the great periods of evolution of Beauvais from its creation during Antiquity to the Reconstruction after the great fire of June 1940 which destroyed more than 80% of the town centre. (pedestrian visit - if you wish to tour the town by coach, please contact us).
Then, guided tour of the Maladrerie Saint-Lazare in Beauvais, a unique ensemble in France. Its origins, which date back to the 12th and 13th centuries, make it one of the most remarkable examples of medieval hospital architecture. Visitors can also appreciate the medieval-inspired garden created inside the surrounding wall.
